The editor-in-chief of Defence Blog reported about this on his X (Twitter) page. According to him, the Canadian manufacturer Roshel has a production capacity of 120 units per month. Thanks to this, the company can guarantee a quick supply of the first batch within just a few weeks.

High production rates are also demonstrated by the delivery of Senator armored vehicles to Ukraine, where they are used by border guards and Armed Forces of Ukraine.

At the end of December 2023, Roshel announced that it had handed over the thousandth Senator armored vehicle to Ukraine after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Roman Shimonov, Founder and CEO of Roshel Inc., hailed the achievement. "Roshel reached a remarkable milestone, delivering the 1000th Roshel Senator armored vehicle to Ukraine ahead of schedule, bolstering defense capabilities during critical times," Shimonov said.

The Senator armored vehicle is built on a Ford heavy-duty truck base. The company's specialists are carrying out a major modernization of the civilian base to enable the armored vehicle to be used in the near-front and frontline areas. The ballistic protection provides the ability to withstand 5.56 mm and 7.62 mm caliber bullets at a distance of 30 meters at a speed of 695 m/s.

As Militarnyi previously reported, five Senator armored vehicles were converted into command post vehicles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the help of volunteers.

The command post vehicles were delivered to the Command of the Communications and Cyber Security of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
