The Ministry of Defense of Spain reported on this. It is reported that two armored vehicles were converted into ambulances, and the rest will be used for their intended purpose. In addition, the Spanish government will donate several fire engines and snowplows, two light vessels, an electric generator, and a water treatment plant.

Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles emphasized that the training of Ukrainian troops in Spain is progressing well. She praised the quality of the training, which includes the use of Patriot, NASAMS, and Hawk systems, along with planning and conducting underwater demining.

It was announced that Spain will participate in six coalitions of forces and capabilities. Ms. Robles noted that they "are a key scheme to ensure support in the long term, and also play an important role in helping Ukrainian forces move towards full interoperability with allies and partners."

The Minister concluded her remarks by emphasizing the unity and determination of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, to which, she said, "Spain will continue to contribute as long as necessary." Militarnyi reported at the beginning of February that Spanish anti-aircraft gunners are currently providing training to their Ukrainian counterparts in maintening the Patriot surface-to-air missile system.

Spain is doing this within the framework of the EU Military Assistance Mission (EUMAM-UA).

The Toledo Training Coordination Center (TTCC), which is subordinated to the Spanish Operational Command (MOPS), trains the Ukrainian military within the framework of EUMAM-UA.
