Ukraine Brings Back 100 Military from Russian Captivity

This is stated by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War. Among the rescued servicemen are 49 soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine, 25 border guards, 26 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and in particular 11 soldiers of the Territorial Defense Forces. All those liberated are privates and sergeants.
84 rescued soldiers defended Mariupol, of which 82 were Azovstal defenders. The rest performed combat missions in the Donetsk and Luhansk directions. At least 28 liberated people have injuries or serious illnesses.
The oldest is 62 years old, and the youngest is 20.

Our team engaged in exchanges - thank you for the result that the country needs," President Zelensky commented on the return of prisoners. Recall that on January 31, 2024, Militarnyi reported on the largest exchange of prisoners of war since the start of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war. Then Ukraine brought back 207 Ukrainians from Russian captivity.
Among those returned were soldiers of the Armed Forces, the National Guard, the National Police, and the State Border Guard Service. Among them were many Mariupol defenders, the military, who were on Azovstal, Zmiinyi Island, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Kherson, and Sumy directions.

180 defenders returning home were privates and sergeant personnel; another 27 - officers.
At least 36 of them had injuries or serious illnesses.
The oldest of the liberated defenders was already 61 years old, and the youngest was almost 21.
