Ukraine to receive additional PzH 2000 and RCH 155 self-propelled guns
Ukraine will receive 36 additional 155 mm self-propelled tracked and wheeled howitzers from Germany. The German government announced this. As part of a new EUR1.13 billion package of German military aid, Ukraine will receive 18 PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers and 18 state-of-the-art RCH 155 self-propelled guns.
This military assistance will also include crew training, spare parts and ammunition for artillery systems.

Photo from open sourcesThe German government explained that in addition to the 14 PzH 2000 tracked self-propelled howitzers transferred in 2022, Germany will supply Ukraine with 18 more such systems in 2026 and 2027, along with shells and spare parts. In addition, to the 18 RCH 155 wheeled self-propelled guns previously ordered for Ukraine, the German government will supply a second batch of 18 such new self-propelled howitzers from the end of 2025 to 2027.

As part of this package, Germany will also transfer Soviet-era 122 mm artillery shells to Ukraine for the first time. During 2024, 120,000 such ammunition should be delivered. Recently, Germany provided Ukraine with a short-term military aid package worth EUR100 million.
The package includes, among other things, Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Armored Vehicles, ammunition for small drones, 77 trucks, medical equipment, and spare parts for various weapons systems.

In addition, Germany will improve Ukraine's ability to repair military equipment.
For this purpose, German industry will build the first repair facilities in Ukraine by the summer of this year.
