Ukrainian startup launches production hundreds of drones per day

Ukraine has uncovered the production of tens of thousands of drones per month. Josep Borrell, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, stated that a young Ukrainian startup now produces hundreds of drones daily. The EU representative gave these details after being shown a classified facility for the production of drones for the military.

The drones are manufactured as part of the Army of Drones, which covers their systematic procurement, repair, and training courses for relevant specialists. "Yesterday, I had the opportunity to see Ukrainian ingenuity firsthand," Joseph Borrell shared.

Josep Borrell also noted that Ukraine has the potential to become a technological center. The released photos from the company demonstrate that workers are assembling hundreds of Shrike FPV drones. Last year, Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, announced that the Shrike drone costs only a few hundred dollars, but the results of its work are impressive.

"Shrike is fast and easy to use, hitting the target, destroying the invaders' positions and equipment. So each of them will help the soldiers to turn even more invaders' equipment into scrap metal," Mykhailo Fedorov said.

As previously reported, Ukraine plans to produce 1 million drones in 2024.

And this figure only regards FPV drones. "In addition to FPV drones, we are already capable of producing more than 10,000 medium-range drones (hundreds of kilometers) and 1,000+ drones with a range of over 1,000 kilometers next year," Oleksandr Kamyshin, Minister of Strategic Industries, reported.
