Defense forces thwarted a repeated Russian offensive in the Zaporizhzhia sector. Ukrainian Ground Forces reported about this in a Telegram. The military also published a video of the enemy's destruction.

Russians continue to try to cut off the Ukrainian foothold in the Zaporizhzhia region, which was recaptured in the summer of 2023.

To this end, at night, Russians tried to repeat the offensive and storm Ukrainian positions.

However, they failed, and the enemy's attempt was thwarted. A video released by Ukrainian defenders shows the destruction of invaders who tried to storm a building.

For this purpose, enemy armored vehicles were used to bring enemy infantry closer to Ukrainian trenches. Invaders were detected in time, and to destroy them, drones were used, in particular, to drop ammunition on the enemy infantry clusters.

According to the Ukrainian military, Russian personnel and equipment were destroyed. The footage shows how ammunition explodes near the invaders' infantry and hits them. Some of them are injured or killed.

According to the General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops near Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region 10 times over the past day.

The day before, Russians attempted to storm Ukrainian positions west of Verbove and Robotyne, as well as northeast of Kopani in the Zaporizhzhia region.

They engaged dozens of armored vehicles and a large number of personnel in the offensive.
