Volunteer Serhii Sternenko published the video on the issue. The air defense system was destroyed by a drone of the Charon group of the 14th Mechanized Brigade. The system was hit during combat duty.

After the first system was destroyed, the military spotted another Tor air defense system, which was trying to leave the firing position. The second system did not have time to escape due to prompt action and was hit right on the radar. It should be noted that the Tor-M2 air defense systems, which use a new and more modern search radar, were destroyed.

The 14th Mechanized Brigade is currently fighting in the Kupiansk sector in the Kharkiv region, where the Russian SAMs were destroyed.

Thanks to the skill of the FPV drone pilots, the brigade has neutralized many of the SAMs used by the Russian invaders in the Kupiansk sector. In February 2024, an FPV drone of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade hit a Russian Tor-M2 air defense system.

Although the system was directly hit, the munition did not detonate.

Nevertheless, the Tor-M2 SAM suffered damage to its external radar systems, namely the search and target acquisition radar.
