Russian Invaders Disclose HIMARS Strike on S-400 SAM in 2023

On the YouTube channel "Svoya Voyna," the invaders mentioned that the strike was made a few months ago. The Ukrainian military attacked the positions of the S-400 and Pantsir-S battalion in the daytime. It can't be excluded that, at this time, a Ukrainian reconnaissance drone that adjusted the fire was operating against the Russian position.

To repel the attack, the Russians massively began to release missiles that were supposed to shoot down American GMLRS rockets. Nevertheless, Russian air defense systems missed some of the shells that fell near one of the launchers.

Striking elements from an American projectile hit the feet of one of the Russian military and a launcher. "One missile reached the target, one unit received light damage, but remained operational in service, and the S-400 fighter received damage," the author of the video said.

Ukrainian intelligence is quite actively hunting for Russian S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems.

Last year, there were a series of attacks on the systems of these complexes. In November, Ukrainian gunners, together with SSU special forces, destroyed a command post that could be part of the S-300 or S-400 air defense system. Then the crew of the HIMARS rocket system successfully struck the detected object which was targeted by the special forces.
