The air base is home to Yak-130 combat and training aircraft, used to train Russian combat pilots.

The published footage captured the sounds of small arms fire and traces of tracer bullets flying in different directions in the night sky. The video footage also captured a flash and the sound of a powerful explosion.

Another video shows a drone flying over the heads of eyewitnesses of the Russian security forces, which is being fired at, probably with assault rifles or machine guns.
