Drones hit Russian Morozovsk military airfield

Russia announces a massive drone attack on the Morozovsk military airfield, where fighter-bombers that strike Ukraine are based. This airfield is located in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. The drone attack took place on the night of April 4-5.

The first explosions occurred around midnight local time. The governor of the Russian region, Vasily Golubev, said that the military airfield, located near the city of Morozovsk in Rostov region, had been attacked by more than 40 drones. Local media and Telegram channels reported the distinctive sounds of UAVs flying overhead and dozens of explosions, and eyewitnesses also observed bright flashes in the sky near the airfield.
