Soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine showed the destruction of Russian troops near Terny

The Donbas Battalion of the 18th Sloviansk Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine repelled an attack by Russian invaders having been advancing toward the village of Terny in the Donetsk region. The unit's aerial reconnaissance group showed destroyed vehicles and infantry, including a BMP-3 and two BMP-2s, as well as more than a dozen dead invaders. The soldiers said that after the battle, invaders brought most of the dead to one place for evacuation.
Together with the battalion, soldiers of the 12th Azov Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine are actively fighting in this area, destroying equipment and infantry with the help of drones. The Azov Brigade said that the fighting does not stop even at night, showing the elimination of Russian troops trying to operate under the cover of night.
In addition, operators of the drone company managed to destroy an enemy BMP-2 with infantry riding on top of the armor. At present, the village of Terny has been virtually destroyed by Russian aircraft and artillery, but its surroundings remain an important strategic point in the defense of Ukrainian Forces along the Terny-Yampolivka-Zarichne-Dibrova line.
To assault Ukrainian positions, Russians are using massive assaults with large groups of infantry, as well as armored vehicles and aircraft. In particular, Russian invaders are actively using guided bombs in the sector. Using its entire arsenal and pulling up reserves, the Russian military is trying to force the Ukrainian military out of the Zherebets River bridgehead and advance toward the Lyman.
In addition to the above-mentioned National Guard units, this section of the frontline is also being defended by units of the 95th Air Assault Brigade, as well as the 60th, 63rd and 93rd Mechanized Brigades.
