"30% of the territory of Ukraine (174 thousand square kilometers) has been mined since the beginning of the full-scale Russian attack," Kateryna Pavlichenko, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.

Militarnyi previously reported that Canada had handed over special mine clearance vehicles to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. In total, 10 special vehicles for the disposal of explosive ordnance were transferred.

The vehicles are equipped with a crane for carrying out the relevant work.

The crane provides loading and transportation of equipment and materials necessary for rescuers to carry out the relevant demining operations.

All the equipment is mounted on the Czech universal chassis platform Torsus Terrastorm, which is capable of overcoming difficult off-road conditions thanks to all-wheel drive.
