Latvian President confirms participation in Ukraine's Peace Summit in conversation with Zelenskyy

On Tuesday 7 May, Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics spoke by phone with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Source: Rinkevics on Twitter (X), as reported by European Pravda Details: During the conversation, Rinkevics reaffirmed his participation in the next Peace Summit next month in Switzerland.

The presidents of both countries also discussed defence cooperation.

Rinkevics expressed gratitude to Zelenskyy for congratulating Latvia on the anniversary of the restoration of its independence.
