Mariupol Defender Hrinka dead

Hazar Hryntsevych, alias Hrinka ("Toast"), defender of the city of Mariupol and member of the Azov regiment, has been killed in the war. Source: Major Mykyta Nadtochii with an alias Raz-Dva ("One-Two") Details: Nadtochii reported that the soldier had been killed in battle.

Hryntsevych together with his fellow soldiers held the defence at the Azovstal plant, was captured by the Russians and went back to military service after his liberation from captivity.

After the liberation from captivity the soldiers who went through the defence of Mariupol and the Azovstal plant formed a new unit called Contact 12, in which Hryntsevych was the commander of the platoon of optical observers.

Hrinka turned 21 on 10 March 2024.
