Paratroopers destroyed Russian motorcyclists in the Donetsk region

Soldiers of the 79th Separate Tavrian Air Assault Brigade fought off an assault and destroyed a group of Russian invaders riding motorcycles. The brigade's press service released a video of the combat work. Russians tried to seize the positions of Ukrainian paratroopers near Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

To break into the Ukrainian positions, an advanced group of invaders moved on motorcycles, but they were destroyed by operators of the Brigade's Attack Drone Company. The published footage captures Russian motorcyclists moving toward the positions of Ukrainian defenders and suffering losses as a result of fire. After the Russians stop, Ukrainian drones immediately start targeting them, dropping ammunition on the Russian soldiers and equipment.

The motorcycles caught fire and exploded, and the Russian invaders riding them died. The invaders also used armored vehicles and tanks in this area but suffered losses. The 79th Separate Tavrian Air Assault Brigade said that Ukrainian paratroopers destroyed eight motorcycles and one infantry fighting vehicle while repelling the attack.

Ukrainian soldiers also managed to damage another infantry fighting vehicle and a tank. The Russian invaders continue to storm the village of Novomykhailivka, located about 12 kilometers south of Marinka in the Donetsk region, almost daily. The invaders have intensified these attacks since the beginning of October 2023.

This sector continues to be one of the hottest spots on the Russian-Ukrainian front line, where fierce fighting continues.

Ukrainian paratroopers, together with other units of the Defense Forces, have already destroyed hundreds of units of Russian equipment near Novomykhailivka.
