The relevant photos were published by DeepState on the social network X. The published photo shows a destroyed Russian assault group that crossed the border with Ukraine. In total, three units of equipment were neutralized, including an enemy tank and armored personnel carriers.

In the morning, Russian troops began shelling the city of Vovchansk with cannon and rocket artillery. In addition, Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups attempted to infiltrate the territory of Ukraine, which resulted in a battle with Ukrainian border guards. There have also been repeated attempts to break through the defense lines of the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the border.
According to DeepState, the enemy managed to create a temporary bridgehead and make a small breakthrough. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that during that day the enemy had bombarded the territory with precision-guided bombs.

After the liberation of the Kharkiv region, Ukraine began building fortifications and defensive positions in case of a new Russian offensive.
As previously reported, on the morning of May 10, 2024, Russian artillery began shelling the city of Vovchansk, located 5 km from the border with Russia.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, confirms the information about the intensification of shelling in the city and calls on the local population not to ignore the air-raid alerts and to take cover in case of shelling.
