This was reported by the official page of the Foundation. Telescopic TV cameras are installed on Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile systems and qualitatively increase the capabilities of these systems. First of all, they are allowed to detect, track and aim at air targets, including small UAVs and quadcopters.

Due to these cameras, the shooter can see images on his monitor through the daytime channel, or a thermal imager. It is also possible to use two channels simultaneously. "The shooter can see images from 2 cameras on the monitor at the same time or from each camera separately," stated in the notification
The total cost of the purchase amounted to UAH 540 thousand, and they were transfered to the military from the 79th Air Assault Brigade. The built-in thermal imager enables target search at night and in conditions of poor visual visibility. "Valley" is a telescopic TV camera for detecting, tracking and aiming at air targets for the rapid modernization of the Strela-10 air defense system, including reconnaissance and attack UAVs," stated in the notification.
It should be noted that the "Valley" is already used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and has demonstrated its capabilities in the interception of Zala, "Lancet" and Supercam drones.

The advantage of the "Valley" is that it can be quickly mounted at an anti-aircraft system.
Previously, Militarnyi reported that Ukrainian benefactors handed over a batch of 495 thermal imaging equipment to the air defense forces to improve MANPADS.
