  • During a phone conversation on 7 May, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau discussed the Peace Summit in Switzerland and the work undertaken to bring Ukrainian children forcibly taken to Russia back to Ukraine.
  • On 9 May, European Council President Charles Michel also confirmed he would take part in the Peace Summit during a phone conversation with President Zelenskyy.
