The National Police has started forming additional units to participate in combat operations against the Russian invaders. The National Police reported on this. These are three consolidated rifle brigades with a total staff of 8,000 police officers.
The first is a consolidated Special Police Brigade created based on the Department of Preventive Activities. The second is the consolidated brigade of the Patrol Police Department "Khyzhak" (Predator - ed.), and the third is the consolidated brigade of KORD special police units.

Combat training for the brigade command's future instructors is currently underway, and they have already started at the National Police training grounds. It is emphasized that most of the police officers undergoing the training already have combat experience.
Their current instructors are representatives of the Separate Assault Brigade "Lyut" (Rage - ed.) of the National Police of Ukraine. After the training of instructors and commanders, the police officers will go to their regions for training and combat coordination with the personnel of the consolidated brigades.

In addition, three consolidated brigades totaling 5,000 police officers have been formed to jointly fulfill the tasks of the National Police and the State Border Guard Service. They perform tasks in the territories bordering the aggressor states of Russia and Belarus. In addition, the staffing of the joint assault brigade of the NPU "Lyut" is 5,000 police officers.
