A video of the tank crews' work was posted online. The published footage captures the work of tank crews firing at enemy positions from a short range. Soldiers used 125 mm HEAT rounds for effective destruction of manpower.
It should be noted that such a short distance of fire is quite dangerous, as the tank could have been hit with an anti-tank grenade launcher. Novooleksandrivka, Donetsk region, at the following coordinates: 48.27516, 37.56563
Due to the poor quality of the video, it is difficult to identify the combat vehicle accurately, but it can be argued that it is a Soviet-made tank, probably a T-64. In addition, the video shows a low reversing speed, which is typical for Soviet-era T-64 and T-72 tanks due to the peculiarity of their gearboxes. Both Soviet-made tanks and Western-style combat vehicles are currently being used in the Avdiivka sector. Thus, the 47th Mechanized Brigade soldiers released a video of the combat use of the M1A1 Abrams SA-UKR main battle tank against Russian positions at the Avdiivka Coke Plant.
The footage was taken in late winter - early spring 2024 by a reconnaissance drone of the Aerial Reconnaissance Unit "God's Work" of the 47th Brigade.
The video captures an M1A1 Abrams SA-UKR firing three shots at a coke plant building.
The loader's speed, which averages 9.4 seconds, can be seen.
