UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak believes that Russia tried to disrupt the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland because it felt threatened by discussions of the fundamental principles of international law. Sunak recalled remarks from the Russian UN representative, who said that the only topic for any international meeting on Ukraine would be "the unconditional surrender of the Kyiv regime".
