The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine announced the defeat of a Russian field unit in the Voronezh region. The press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported on this. The governor of a Russian region reports a nighttime drone attack.

Ukrainian intelligence officers said that on June 25, 2024, an ammunition depot of the Russian invasion army was hit in the Olkhovatsky district of the Voronezh region. They also posted a video by a local eyewitness showing a massive fire and the sound of exploding ammunition.

This operation was reportedly carried out by soldiers of the Department of Active Operations of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine. "At night, a fire broke out on the sites with the shells, whose total area is 3,500 square meters, and the fire is still going on. Given the size of the warehouse, it looks like it will explode for a long time," the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine noted.

First, Alexander Gusev, governor of the Voronezh region, reported two downed UAVs, the wreckage of which landed on the territory of an industrial site. This was followed by explosions and a fire, which was allegedly quickly extinguished. However, in the morning, he claimed that as a result of the Ukrainian attack, "explosive objects" detonated in the Olkhovatsky district of the region far from civilian buildings.

No one in the area was injured. The population living in the area was notified and asked not to leave their homes temporarily and, if possible, to stay in rooms without windows. Operational services are said to be working at the scene.

Previously, Ukrainian Air Force aircraft successfully hit the command post of a motorized rifle regiment located in the Belgorod region.
