Russian forces injure 4 civilian women in Kherson

Four women were injured in a Russian attack on the city of Kherson in southern Ukraine on Saturday, 20 July. They sought medical assistance. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories - ed.]

One of the women, aged 49, sustained a blast injury and a shrapnel wound to her left shin. A woman born in 1974 also sustained a blast injury, as well as a contusion and a shrapnel wound to the face. These women will be treated on an outpatient basis.

They were injured around 14:20 when an enemy shell hit a building. Women born in 1949 and 1967 sustained a blast injury and a contusion. The older woman also sustained a shrapnel wound to her shoulder.

The [younger] woman, aged 56, sustained shrapnel wounds to her face. Both will be treated on an outpatient basis. Both were injured when [Russian forces] deployed a drone to drop explosives around 14:00."
