The Armed Forces of Ukraine have started training crews for Bradley infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), which Ukraine receives as part of military aid. The military discussed the training of crews. The training center trains mechanics and drivers, gunners, and commanders of combat vehicles.

Before performing practical tasks on the M2 Bradley IFV, the soldiers undergo theoretical training. The crews then practice their shooting and driving skills at the training ground under the supervision of instructors.

For example, each new lesson is practiced on a new track with natural and artificial obstacles. There, they learn the intricacies of driving a vehicle in combat conditions. At the same time, the gunners are practicing firing on the range with the American IFV's main weapons - an M242 Bushmaster 25mm automatic cannon and a 7.62mm machine gun.

The vehicle is also armed with a TOW anti-tank missile system. All weapons are located in the turret. Modern sights and fire control systems on the Bradley allow it to hit the selected target with high accuracy.

The United States provided Ukraine with a significant number of M2 Bradley fighting vehicles as part of its military assistance. Therefore, the Armed Forces of Ukraine needed to train their crews independently based on their experience using them on the battlefield.

It is reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine received the M2A2 ODS-SA version of the infantry fighting vehicle. It is possible to distinguish this vehicle from older versions by the driver's camera in the front of the BMP body. The first footage of Ukrainian soldiers mastering the American Bradley infantry fighting vehicles appeared in January 2023.

These were soldiers of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade.

The M2 Bradley crew consists of three people, and the IFV can carry up to six infantrymen in the squad compartment.

The Bradleys proved themselves in the fight against the Russian invaders.
