Ukrainian paratroopers’ tank destroys a group of Russian assaultmans in the Toretsk sector

"'Veterans' is a militant unit formed from residents of the so-called 'DPR'," the paratroopers said. A group of militants from this unit tried to gain a foothold in the houses. To eliminate them, the paratroopers engaged a tank, which began shooting at the assault troops at close range.
"Only one tank crew destroyed an assault group of the "Veterans" unit that had taken refuge in a house," the military said. Paratroopers are also actively using artillery and attack drones in this area to eliminate Russian infantry.
The Ukrainian General Staff said that the situation in the Pokrovsk sector remained the hottest today, and the enemy was also active in the Lyman and Toretsk sectors. In the Toretsk sector, the invaders are conducting assaults from the captured Yurivka towards New York and Toretsk, and further north towards Pivnichne and Pivdenne, and are destroying Toretsk itself.

According to official data, 4,500 people remain in Toretsk, Donetsk region.
