"Our drones ruthlessly destroy shelters and wipe out the invader's manpower," the unit said. Groups of Russian invaders tried to hide in the houses of the town of Zalizne and the village of Pivnichne, which are located nearby, not far from Toretsk.

The Ukrainian military monitored the invaders' movements from reconnaissance drones. FPV drones with a powerful warhead were chosen for the attack, which caused significant damage to the houses with Russian soldiers.

On August 12, the Ukrainian General Staff said that the enemy, with the support of aviation, had carried out eight attacks in the Toretsk sector.

"The Russians concentrated their efforts in the areas of Zalizne, Druzhba and New York," the General Staff added. The Toretsk sector consists of a triangle - Chasiv Yar, Toretsk and Ocheretyne.

Capturing these positions will allow the Russians to advance toward Kostiantynivka. The second task of the invaders is to advance towards Pokrovsk, as the city is strategically important for both Ukraine and Russia.
