This was reported in the defense ministry. In particular, about 20 new UAV ammunition samples were codified in July. The new samples include high-explosive, HEAT, combined-action and multipurpose munitions.
The Ministry of Defense explained that the ammunition varies in weight: from several hundred grams to more than several kilograms.

The Ukrainian military uses ammunition from drones to destroy the equipment and fortifications of the Russian invaders.
They are also used to combat the invaders' manpower, which is located both in the open and in specially equipped buried shelters (dugouts), fortifications, or inside military equipment. The Ukrainian defense ministry emphasized that the role of unmanned aerial systems on the battlefield was growing. Therefore, the domestic defense industry is dynamically responding to the needs of the army and increasing the production of UAVs of various types and purposes.

New models of drones are also being actively developed, and the range of ammunition for different types of drones is expanding. Ihor Fedirko, Advisor to the Minister for Strategic Industries, spoke about the domestic production of ammunition for drones in the program "To the Gun" on Militarnyi TV channel:
In just six months of 2024, the Ministry of Defense authorized more than 70 domestic unmanned aerial systems for use in the army.
They perform a wide range of tasks: reconnaissance of enemy positions on the contact line and in the rear, adjustment of artillery fire, strikes on enemy equipment, fortifications and warehouses.
