Ukraine's National Police to ensure security during Ukrainian major public holidays on 23-24 August
The National Police of Ukraine has officially stated that it is ready to ensure safety during the celebration of the National Flag Day on 23 August and Independence Day of Ukraine on 24 August. Source: National Police on social media Details: The National Police reported that 486 events are expected to be held on the territory of Ukraine, except for Donetsk, Luhansk, Sumy and Kherson oblasts, on the occasion of the national holidays.

Details: Maksym Akhramieiev, Head of the Police Department for Preventive Actions, stressed that there is a high probability that Russia will launch numerous missile attacks on Ukraine's territory during these days, so special attention should be paid to the algorithm of actions during an air-raid warning.
Police units, investigative teams, bomb disposal experts, dog handlers and other services will be involved in providing enhanced security measures.
