Facebook user Ihor Sydorenko published the video of the destruction. The Russian multiple launch rocket system was destroyed by the joint efforts of the soldiers of the Alpha Group and drone pilots of the Attack Drone Group "Flight Club 92" of the 92nd Assault Brigade. The Russian Uragan multiple launch rocket system was initially detected by an aerial reconnaissance drone of the 92nd Assault Brigade, which was conducting a reconnaissance flight to find the enemy.

The detected target was identified as a Uragan MLRS, which was in a deployed position to fire. After transmitting the coordinates of the location of the Russian multiple launch rocket system, SSU officers launched an attack drone into the sky, which hit the MLRS in the launcher's vicinity.

As a result of a direct hit, the Russian Uragan MLRS started to burn and burned down completely.

The destruction took place on June 16, 2024, in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, from where the system was firing at the positions of Ukrainian defenders. It should be noted that the destroyed MLRS is a rather rare system, as it is one of the few new systems that is mounted on the chassis of the BAZ-69092 truck. The Russian military uses these MLRS on the new chassis in limited numbers in the war against Ukraine.

In addition, this is the loss of the Uragan MLRS on the new BAZ chassis.

Militarnyi previously reported that Ukrainian defenders used HIMARS to strike a Russian P-18 radar in the south.

As a result of the attack, Russia's modernized P-18 radar was damaged and probably at least disabled.
