Soldiers of the 54th Mechanized Brigade received Shark drones

The drone operators of the 54th Mechanized Brigade received a Shark aerial reconnaissance system. It was purchased and donated by the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation with funds raised by Toronto TV viewers. The soldiers of the 54th Brigade received two drones with night vision cameras and a ground station worth UAH 8,045,430.00.
"We never tire of thanking the viewers of Toronto Television - it is thanks to their funds that we were able to purchase the Shark unmanned aerial system," the Foundation emphasized.

Last month, the Foundation also transferred a Shark-D unmanned aerial vehicle to the 11th Battalion.

It was purchased thanks to a donation from Astarta-Kyiv in the amount of UAH 7,696,909.50. The Shark multifunctional unmanned aerial vehicle system is designed for a wide range of missions. It is with such drones that the Ukrainian military detects Russian equipment and positions and then targets them with long-range weapons.
Shark reconnaissance drones are manufactured by the Ukrainian company Ukrspecsystems. The UAV provides fully autonomous reconnaissance, surveillance, clear identification, and recognition from a long distance and high altitude.

When equipped with a daytime camera, the drone can record video in Full HD and at 30x magnification.
The Shark is characterized by good protection against enemy electronic warfare (EW) systems and a range of 60-80 kilometers, depending on the modification.
The flight range of the Ukrainian-made drone is 300 kilometers, and its duration is more than 4 hours.
