Ukrainian Air Force strikes invaders’ communication center in Zaporizhzhia region

The footage of the strike was published by the Sunflower Telegram channel. The operation involved aircraft of the 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade, which is armed with Su-27 and Su-27UB fighters. The author of the video noted that the strike had been aimed at a Russian command and observation post, where the invaders' signalmen had also been based.

The location of the occupiers was geolocated in the Vasylivka district of the Zaporizhzhia region, 12 kilometers from the contact line. The occupiers were based on the territory of an industrial facility on the outskirts of the temporarily occupied town of Vasylivka.

A week earlier, the unit was seen operating in the Donetsk sector, bombing the outskirts of occupied Bakhmut. Fighter jets with JDAMs hit buildings in the suburbs where enemy equipment and personnel were reportedly concentrated. The strike of the guided bombs was recorded by a reconnaissance drone and posted online.

Last month, Ukrainian tactical aviation bombed a Russian FSB border outpost in the Kursk oblast with precision-guided munitions.
