The video of the interception was posted on the unit's page. A SIGNUM Strike Drones Company from the 93rd Mechanized Brigade, which is involved in the defense of this area, destroyed 49 Russian UAVs in a short time. "In a very short period of time, we managed to knock out almost all the Katsap "eyes" in the area, which greatly facilitated the work of our logistics, artillery, and other calculations, and allowed us to reduce enemy shelling with both artillery and guided aerial bombs," the military said.
The video shows the confirmed destruction of 48 reconnaissance drones and one loitering munition:
- ZALA-421 - 36 units
- Supercam S350 - 7 units
- Orlan-10 - 5 units
- Lancet - 1 unit
The Ukrainian OSINT team CyberBoroshno, based on the landscape and buildings shown, carried out an extensive work and geolocated the interception sites of all 49 drones in the video. The lion's share of the downed enemy UAVs were hit within a relatively short 20-kilometer-long stretch of frontline that stretches from Toretsk and Kostiantynivka.
Given that Ukrainian forces do not intercept all drones, this gives us a rough idea of the density of drone use in this area and its priority for the Russian invaders. Currently, UAVs play a key role in Russian reconnaissance and strike systems. Without them, enemy artillery, missile and air strikes will lose their effectiveness.

The effectiveness of the SIGNUM unit and its impact on the course of hostilities in the area is also eloquently evidenced by an inscription with an untranslatable play on words that the invaders placed on the wing of one of the drones specifically for Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners.
Earlier, blogger Serhii Sternenko reported that in recent weeks, Ukrainian interceptor drones had shot down more than a hundred Russian reconnaissance drones.
The modified interceptor drones were purchased at the expense of philanthropists as part of the Nebesnyi Rusoriz project.
