The photos were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "The personnel of the Canadian training operation UNIFIER are proud to be part of Canada's initiative to provide 50 armored combat support vehicles to Ukraine," the statement reads. It is reported that the first ten ACSVs to be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the fall will be in the armored ambulance version.

In April, Militarnyi reported that the first ten armored personnel carriers would be sent to Germany, where the Ukrainian military would begin learning to operate and undergo training on the new vehicles. In total, Ukraine is to receive 50 LAV 6.0 ACSV armored personnel carriers from Canada. They are manufactured by General Dynamics Land Systems Canada in London, Ontario.
The vehicles are part of a £650 million Canadian military aid package announced last year.

The new vehicles received an improved level of protection, which is capable of holding 14.5-caliber machine gun bullets from all sides.
The vehicles were also fitted with new observation systems, a Protector RWS, and a new 450 hp engine that allows the vehicle to accelerate up to 100 km/h on the highway and 40 km/h off-road.
It is worth reminding that some Ukrainian units already have experience in operating these armored personnel carriers, as in December 2022, ACSV was spotted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
