Zelensky: Invaders attacked the Institute of Communications in Poltava, there are casualties

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported this in his urgent video address. As of 2:30 p.m., over 180 people were wounded and 41 killed. Ukrainian emergency services are working at the scene of the tragedy.
"I have ordered a full and prompt investigation into all the circumstances of what happened. All necessary services are involved in the rescue operation. I am grateful to each and every person who, from the first minutes after the strike, has been helping people who are saving lives," Zelensky said in his address.

As a result of the strike, one of the buildings of the Institute of Communications was partially destroyed, people were trapped under the rubble, and the search operation continues. The President expressed condolences to the families and relatives of those killed in the Russian strike. The Poltava Institute of Communications trains specialists in both civilian and military communications.
According to the Ministry of Defense, 25 people were rescued due to the coordinated work of rescuers and medics, 11 of whom were unblocked from under the rubble.
Rescuers are currently continuing their work.
