The result of this attack is confirmed by Planet Labs satellite imagery. The published images capture damaged buildings that, according to Israeli sources, Iran used to assemble and manufacture ballistic missiles. The facility is located on the territory of Parchin and Khodzhri and was a strategically important facility for Iran's missile program.

The facility was used in the development and production of Iranian ballistic missiles and, according to Israeli sources, will negatively affect the combat readiness of Iran's missile forces and its overall plans to supply its own missiles to Russia. Israel reportedly hit 12 'planetary mixers' used to produce solid fuel for long-range ballistic missiles, which make up the bulk of Iran's missile arsenal.

In addition to the ballistic missile production facility, Israel hit a battery of S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems that Iran used for cover but failed to intercept Israeli missiles.

Israel struck Iran in response to a similar strike on its territory on October 1, 2024.
Israeli Air Force aircraft were involved in the operation, firing missiles at military facilities in Iran.
According to the BBC, a news agency close to the Revolutionary Guard reported that the facilities were some military bases in the west and southwest of the Iranian capital.
