The system's mobility, autonomy, and modular mission-specific payloads enable the platform to be the first to engage enemy forces and assets, reducing risk to its troops.

Recently, on October 9, 2024, Militarnyi reported that the United States Army tested an armed quadcopter drone with artificial intelligence elements in the Middle East.

The published photos demonstrate a Ghost Robotics Vision 60 (Q-UGV) quadcopter armed with a combat module with a rifle based on the AR-15 platform.

The drone was used at the Red Sands Integrated Experimental Center in Saudi Arabia during a recent drone countermeasures exercise.
