The SOTA Telegram channel released a video of the fire from the area. Local residents reported hearing a loud explosion and sounds similar to shooting, but for a short time. After the explosion, a fire was recorded on video in the area of Moscow's Kuzminki Park, located next to the higher military educational institution.

They write that a shooting range and a gas station are also nearby the Moscow Higher Combined Arms Command School. The Moscow Higher Combined Arms Command School is considered the oldest military educational institution in the Russian Federation.

Since 2015, the school has been training commanders with higher military-specialized education under a 4-year military education system for the mechanized and ground forces of the Russian Armed Forces.

Ukraine has stepped up its long-range strikes over Russian territory over the past few months, launching dozens of drones simultaneously at strategic targets. Targets include military air bases, oil storage facilities, ammunition depots, and military facilities. Long-range drone strikes are coordinated by intelligence services that operate in secrecy.

During one mission, dozens of drones can be launched at a single target. The attacks mostly take place at night.

As previously reported, satellites recently recorded the aftermath of a drone strike on the Borisoglebsk military air base in the Voronezh region of Russia on the night of Thursday, October 3.
