Part of these funds, namely EUR20 million, will be used to support Ukraine's defense industry. The funding will be provided under the Danish model, aimed at purchasing weapons from Ukrainian manufacturers in accordance with the proposals and requirements of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. In addition, the Swedish government intends to allocate about EUR43 million for a number of multilateral initiatives to provide rapid and effective support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

These funds are planned to support the coalitions created within the framework of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format. Examples of initiatives that could be supported include:
- the Aviation Coalition, including the purchase of air-to-air missiles for Ukrainian F-16 fighter jets;
- the coalition that trains Ukrainian marines;
- the Demining Capability Coalition;
- the IT Coalition, of which Sweden recently became a member.
In addition, as part of this assistance, Sweden will also contribute to NATO's Comprehensive Assistance Package for Ukraine, which includes the purchase of military equipment. In early October, Sweden allocated EUR2.4 million to Ukraine to investigate war crimes committed by the Russian invaders.
The funds will be used to improve the digital infrastructure of justice and judicial proceedings in Ukraine, allowing for more efficient prosecution of war crimes.
