The Diplomatic Security Service is responsible for the Embassy's security and all mission personnel in Ukraine. This week, representatives of both agencies helped Ukrainian police and border guards improve their skills with American weapons. In particular, they were trained to use AR-15 rifles.
Their caliber is usually 5.56 mm. The AR-15 has a semi-automatic firing mode. This means the weapon fires one shot every time the user pulls the trigger.
