Ukrainian YPR-765 Armored Personnel Carriers Armed with EOS Remote Weapon Systems

According to user X Jeff2146, this conclusion can be drawn from a video of the 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade. The footage shows a YPR-765 armored personnel carrier armed with a 40-mm automatic grenade launcher mounted in an EOS R400 module. The installation of a combat module with an automatic grenade launcher significantly increases the armored personnel carrier's ability to support infantry and vehicles.

In addition, the module enables the armored personnel carrier's crew to effectively engage targets while remaining protected by the vehicle's hull. Militarnyi reported on the order of modules from Electro Optic Systems to meet the needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces as early as in April 2023. Back then, it was an order for 50 modules, spare parts and ammunition.
The contract, which was valued at £41 million, was to be completed in 2023-2024.

Electro Optic Systems
The manufacturer describes EOS combat modules as systems designed to provide greater accuracy of fire in all conditions, as well as crew safety.
The company offers several combat modules in configurations with different weapons. Thanks to their ultra-lightweight design, they can be mounted on a variety of vehicles and platforms, including light vehicles.

It is equipped with a thermal imaging sight with a target detection range of up to 5 kilometers. The company also offers a heavier version of the EOS R800, which is equipped with a Bushmaster Mk.44 30mm automatic gun. This module is considered a system for heavy wheeled and tracked combat vehicles.
According to the manufacturer, the module weighs three times less than its counterparts and provides high-precision fire.
In addition to the cannon, the combat module can also be integrated with a 7.62-caliber light machine gun and Javelin anti-tank guided missiles.
