Goskomvoenprom reports this on its website. "On the territory of the 619th base for storage, repair, modernization and utilization of communications equipment, a ceremonial handover of modern communications equipment and systems developed and manufactured at Belarusian defense industry enterprises took place," the agency reported. In particular, modernized radio relay stations, R-185 Epokha command and control vehicles and more than 200 portable and stationary tactical radio communications equipment were handed over.

The modernization of the equipment was carried out by AGAT-SYSTEM and Agat - Electromechanical Plant, which are part of the Belarusian holding Geoinformation Management Systems. The enterprise is a key Belarusian manufacturer in the defense sector, specializing in the production of mobile control and communication systems for military use.

The R-185 "Epokha" is designed to provide communications for the purpose of managing units at the tactical level of command and control in combat.

Its development of command and control vehicles began in 2016 at AGAT-SYSTEM with the active participation of representatives of the military department. As a base chassis, the developers used the BTR-60MB2, which was modernized at Belarusian enterprises. According to the manufacturer, the R-185 KSM provides the formation of up to three simplex or one duplex and one simplex VHF (ultra-short wave) radio channels using Belarusian-designed R-181-50VU-2 and R-181-50TU radio stations (communication range up to 25 km in motion and up to 50 km whilst stationary).

Also, it provides one simplex CW (short waves) radio channel using the Belarusian-designed R-181-100VK radio station (communication range up to 75 km in motion and whilst stationary (up to 350 km when deployed) and one DMR radio channel using the Klen radio station. It is reported that the R-185 also allows for the formation of one simplex VHF radio channel at a range of up to 120 km and one simplex VHF radio channel at a range of up to 450 km with aircraft.

In addition, the published photos show the transmission of the digital radio relay station R-414MBRP "Sosna-2".

This radio relay station is designed to organize radio relay and cable (copper-cable and fiber-optic) communication lines. As well as wireless broadband access zones and DMR radio communication networks as part of field communication hubs, communication hubs of control points.

It is worth noting that the peculiarity of the R-414MBRP "Sosna-2" is the "plasticity" of the modernization, which can be carried out without significant design changes.
