The soldiers of the direct action units of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine received 32 120mm mortars from the Come Back Alive Foundation. The agency's press service reported on this and published the relevant photos. The mortars for Ukrainian scouts performing combat missions at the front line were purchased for contributions from concerned citizens.
120mm mortars are a relatively versatile weapon: their fire provides direct support to troops and shelling of invaders' positions.

This is not the first time the Come Back Alive Foundation has delivered 120mm mortars to the DIU units. The last batch of 32 units was delivered to Ukrainian intelligence officers this April.
Since 2023, the Come Back Alive Foundation has purchased and transferred more than 4,600 weapons worth over UAH 1.3 billion to the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine. These include mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns, and sniper rifles. The Ministry thanked the Foundation's team and all Ukrainians for their constant and tangible support of the defenders.
Last month, Ukrainian defenders received, among other things, 16 mobile UAV command posts from the Come Back Alive Foundation. The equipment was handed over to a total of 14 different units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This was part of the Aerial Reconnaissance League 3.0 project.
Drone operators of the Army, Air Force, National Guard, Air Assault Forces, Defence Intelligence, and Unmanned Systems Forces received minibus-based command posts.
