This was reported by Russian Telegram channels and local media. Eyewitnesses also posted photos and videos from the scene online. Videos of the fire at the Russian oil depot began to appear after one in the morning.

At that time, the acting governor of the Rostov oblast, Yuri Slyusar, claimed a massive drone attack and that Russian air defense in the region had allegedly already shot down 30 drones. Subsequently, eyewitnesses began to report a fire at the Atlas plant of the Rosrezerv (Federal Agency for State Reserves - ed.) in the Kamensky district of the region, which specializes in the storage of oil products, in particular for the Russian invasion army.

According to him, more than a hundred firefighters and 38 pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire. At least several burning fuel tanks at the Atlas plant in the Rostov region of Russia are known to be on fire as a result of a UAV strike.

It is worth noting that this hostile facility was already attacked by Ukrainian drones in August this year. Back then, fuel tanks were also damaged and caught fire. The Atlas plant specializes in the storage and supply of petroleum products, including to the Russian army.

The facility is located more than a hundred kilometers from the front line. Russian media report that in August 2020, the plant hosted the joint exercises of the Ministry of Defense and the Rosrezerv as part of the Caucasus 2020 exercise. The demonstration exercises involved three methods of supplying petroleum products for the army: by road, rail, and pipeline.

These reports confirm the involvement of the oil depot in supplying the Russian invaders fighting on the territory of Ukraine.
