Background:

• Before that, reports indicated that the brigade had completed its training in France.
• On 9 October, French President Emmanuel Macron visited Ukrainian military personnel from the 155th Brigade who are undergoing training in France's eastern region of Grand Est and wished them success.
• The EU has recently extended the mandate of the EU military training mission to train Ukrainian soldiers for two years, with more than EUR400 million earmarked for it.
