The full uncensored video was posted on the Battalion's Telegram channel. A soldier of the 54th Mechanized Brigade Battalion named Vadym went up against an assault group of invaders who quickly broke into the Ukrainian military's trenches. "Vadym went up the battlefield when there was no time even to put on a bulletproof vest and helmet.
He went alone to destroy a group of six Russian soldiers who were approaching his dugout," the unit said. The brave actions of the Ukrainian infantryman, who "out of character" relentlessly attacked the enemy in close combat, forced the invaders to retreat from their trenches back into the field, where the operators of the K-2 Battalion's attack drones were already waiting for them. The drones destroyed most of the group of Russians trying to return to their positions across the open terrain.
Vadym's heroic battle with the invaders took place on July 15 this year. The K-2 Battalion told us that he later gave his life in a battle with the enemy.
The Ukrainian Geoint project WarArchive geolocated the positions in the video (here) in the northern direction, three kilometers east of the village of Verkhnekamianske, Donetsk region.

The enemy constantly presses and launches massive offensives, sparing no effort to spare their forces and infantry. In particular, the other day, the unit's fighters managed to fight off a suicidal attack by Russians in passenger cars through a mined field. In this way, the invaders tried to quickly slip through to Ukrainian positions.
The Russian invaders used the paths made by previously destroyed Russian tanks to bypass the mines but were eliminated by FPV drone operators.

The K-2 Battalion manages to hold out and repel much larger Russian forces over a large section of the frontline thanks to active mining and the widespread use of attack drones, which minimize close combat between Ukrainian infantry and attack aircraft.
For example, some of the invaders' offensives are destroyed exclusively with the help of drones on the outskirts of their positions.
