Quote: "We had a discussion the other day and discussed various scenarios. I believe that Lublin Voivodeship is well-prepared. There is a list of volunteers who assisted our citizens in 2022.
This list includes several hundred volunteers who, if necessary, will be contacted and recruited to assist. There is a clear understanding of who will do what, who will work at the border, and who at the train station," Kuts said. In addition to representatives from local governments, non-governmental organisations, volunteers, and Ukrainian diplomats, the coordination group includes representatives from the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, who advise volunteers on various grants that can be applied for to receive financial assistance to support refugees.
