On the night of November 25, local residents in Kaluga, Russia, heard loud explosions and then reported a large fire. The Russian Defense Ministry, on the other hand, reported 23 allegedly intercepted Ukrainian drones.

A comparison of satellite imagery before and after the attack shows the total destruction of three tanks and burning throughout the site. The attacked tanks of the Kaluganefteprodukt enterprise are subordinated to PJSC Rosneft Oil Company.

The company has tanks of the RVS-200, RVS-700 and RVS-1000 types (the digital indexes mean the tanks' maximum volume in cubic meters). As for the Russian Typhoon defense plant, located directly next to the attacked oil depot and also targeted by Ukrainian drones, the available satellite images and the winter terrain conditions do not yet provide enough information to assess the extent of the destruction at the plant, or whether it was affected at all.
