The video of the operation was posted on the page of the Liut Brigade, formed from the regiments of the National Police of Ukraine. During one of the operations in Toretsk, the soldiers of the Safari Regiment captured an enemy radio station, which made it possible to listen to the Russians' negotiations and fully control the situation on the battlefield. Thanks to the information received, the soldiers organized an ambush and "caught" the enemy moving between buildings: a well-positioned fighter shot two Russian invaders with an FN Minimi machine gun.

Currently, city battles are ongoing in Toretsk, where Ukrainian infantry has to face Russian attack aircraft at close range. The invaders are trying to advance from one building to another, but the Ukrainian military is managing to eliminate Russian infantry and restrain the invaders' advance in Toretsk.

The specifics of urban battles have led to the fact that they can be fought on three levels: on the ground, on different floors of buildings, and in underground communications. "Dense multi-story buildings pose additional challenges. However, despite everything, the work continues," the soldiers of the 101st Brigade for the Protection of the General Staff named after Colonel-General Henadii Vorobiov shared.

To force the offensive, the Russians repeatedly used tactical aircraft to destroy Ukrainian positions that could not be overcome by ground forces with bombs.

In September, soldiers of the Liut Brigade also used this tactic in Toretsk. They stormed buildings and blew them up to deprive the enemy of their hiding places. Without the cover of buildings, the enemy is forced to move more often in the open, which exposes them to return fire.

This leads to additional casualties and makes it difficult to advance in the city.
