This was reported by the Russian resource Astra. According to Russian official sources, the city was attacked by three drones, which were successfully intercepted and destroyed by air defense units. The wreckage fell on the territory of an industrial facility, namely an oil depot, causing a severe fire, which local emergency response units and task forces are currently trying to localize.

In addition to the information about the damage to the oil depot, there are the reports of a possible damage to the Kaluga instrument-making enterprise Typhoon. The severe fire at the oil depot is confirmed by NASA satellites that monitor the planet to detect fire centers.

The attacked tanks belong to Kaluganefteprodukt JSC, which is subordinated to Rosneft. The company has tanks of RVS-200, RVS-700, and RVS-1000 types, where the digital index corresponds to the maximum volume in cubic meters. The number of damaged and burning tanks is currently unknown. However, given the concentration of the fire in one place, it can be assumed that one of the groups of tanks was damaged.

Judging by the video of local residents, it can be argued that at least two drones attacked the oil depot. The third drone was probably shot down and crashed on the outskirts of the city. Earlier, Militarnyi reported that on the night of Friday, November 8, drones had attacked the Saratov Oil Refinery.
