Zelenskyy: We are ready to bring Crimea back diplomatically

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has emphasised that Ukraine cannot afford to lose tens of thousands of lives in the effort to liberate Crimea, although he noted that this could be achieved through diplomatic means. Quote: "We cannot legally acknowledge any occupied territory of Ukraine as Russian.

That is about those territories... occupied by Putin before the full-scale invasion, since 2014. Legally, we are not acknowledging that; we are not adopting that. On the other hand, we understand that so far, we do not have that much force; with weapons in our hands, we could push Putin back to the line [Ukrainian border] of 1991."

Details: Zelenskyy added that Ukraine was ready to regain Crimea through diplomatic means.
